sushi go round

while rotting in Ahmedabad, MiniTiny intro-ed a super irritating game in Miniclip.com to me, hoping that it allowed time to pass faster.

its called Sushi Go Round.

1

bloody irritating and nerve wrecking but nevertheless i got hooked onto it.
[does that mean that i'm as irritating? muahaha]

even the music of the game is irritating.

the goal of the game is to keep up with customers' orders and keep the reputation of the restaurant going.

2

not only that, you have to remember the recipe for the different kinds of sushi available.

6

still have to clear the customers' plates after they eat and get lost from your shop. customers that wait too long will get pissed and your reputation drops.

furthermore, you have to keep track of the ingredients quantity and order if you run out of them. over-ordering will decrease your profit earned, and ur restaurant's reputation drops somemore.

5

express ordering will allow the ingredients to arrive faster, but u have to pay more money for the goods. bo hua.

if you made sth that the recipe doesnt include, then it becomes a pile of shit. =(

7
spot the SHIT.

at the end of the day, u get to see how many customers u served, lost and were unhappy.

3

such an irritating game.. if u are as free and bo liao as me then go and play ok?
~ off to play the irritating game AGAIN.

those three didnt bear to poke the satay sticks into the still alive prawns. so in the end i used the sticks to anal the prawns and we bbq-ed a few of them just to taste.

den they come to touch my hair, my shoulder and when i said : KNN!, they smile at me. some even wanted to come and shake hands with us. =.=

after running away from the crowded bazaar, i went to the bookstore which is much much much more peaceful and cool. cool as in temperature wise.

10 myths

"10 myths about cabin crew members:

  1. We all love our jobs
  2. We also love smiling, even when presented with overflowing sick bags
  3. We're not remotely afraid of turbulence
  4. We eat the same food as the passengers
  5. We have a man in every port
  6. We don't get hangovers
  7. We don't mind getting up at 3am
  8. We're not the bright so we need a calcuator to work out the prices of two coffees
  9. We all live very glamorous lives
  10. Our secret wish is to marry captains (even ugly captains)"

extracted from: confessions of an air hostess

=)
currently being much in love with this book.
i kept smiling and nodding in agreement.

especially love this part where they say :

"Please be careful when aiming for the toilet bowl as we have no cleaners on the flight. Cabin crew members are here primarily for your comfort and safety, and potty training is not included in the price of your cheap flight.
Just to let you know, if you hand us complaint cards at the end of the flight, they will not be passed on to Head Office but will go straight into the bin along with your used napkins.
Please do not ask us which country we are flying over at any stage of the flight - if we were that good at geopraphy, we'd be, like, geography teachers or something. "

rome rome rome

in Rome, do as the Romans do.
but what did the Romans do?

______________________

ROME.

for one thing, i didnt know Rome is in Italy.
hahaha. this shows how lousy my geography is. ai ya, i is study literature one wad.

the first day when we arrived at Rome, it was about 8.45am. we met up at 9.45am after washing up. is super steady cos we didnt catch a wink at all and the flight was 12 hrs.
that day we walked from 9.45am till 9pm, only sitting down to have our lunch.
the weather was hot, freaking 34 degrees or sth.
we were sticky, tired, hot while we walked, but still it was the best walk ever.

1
the buildings are like 325276435236 times older than me. and they all seemed to look the same.

3
me, cass, mel - my new found friends
its really good to take the photos in black and white.
feels that the black and white effect is meant to be used in Rome.

2
we started taking nonsensical photos because the black and white effect was too good.

5
love the photo that shows the walk way of the museum.

4
snap snap snap.
photos with the buildings and all.

6
very dull colours. very interesting sights.

7
the colosseum
aparently no body had a clear idea what the colosseum was about, so we joined a guided tour and had people explaining what the structure was used for and all.

11
our tour guide.
mind you. he is an archeologist. very knowledgable.

9
tickets to the colosseum

All i know is its a old stadium where they had gladiatorial games. Gladiators killing each other with their own trademark weapons and costumes. And the crowd of 50000 would be cheering and putting their bets on their favourites.

10
touching a stone from the 16th century makes me feels young.
hahahaha.

extracted from Wikipedia : The Colosseum or Coliseum, originally the Flavian Amphitheatre, is an elliptical amphitheatre in the centre of the city of Rome, the largest ever built in the Roman Empire. It is one of the greatest works of Roman architecture and Roman engineering.

12
4 very-tired-yet-dont-wanna-waste-a-day-rotting-in-the-hotel people. =)
mel,cass,me,darren.
darren is a pilot.

8
this is a real human, trying to pass off as a statue. and he succeeded in conning me into believing he is fake.

13
random photos taken while walkin on the streets.

14
the very famous wishing pond but i canot rmb whats the name of it.

15

16

17

we went to the 16 (or was it 18?) chapels at night:

18

camera's night mode wasnt that good.
=(

20
spent 76 euros to take the train to Florence.
so bloody expensive and the journey was 1 hr 45 mins.
the main point was to go to the Prada factory outlet store, but in the end we didnt cos the timing for the shuttle bus clashed with our train ride back.

in the end i spent abt 152SGD to go to Florence to see some river, take some photos, see some churches and had pizza at a cafe. =.=

IMG_4480
took this at a cafe. so cute.

22
the famous church but i dunoe what its called.

21
walking street that sells fake labels.
who say western countries sell only authentic products.
stereotype.

24
i like to take photos with naked men.

23

25

and the guy on the right was supposed to be a very cool and still statue, but duno why he posed like that when we asked for a photo. =(

26
the river.

and to reward myself for my hard work these few months working and slogging my ass off, i bought myself a present.
finally.

19
my new gucci bag. =)

fukuoka

an unexpected trip to japan.
knew that i was going japan only on that very day.

stayed in Grand Hyatt for the night.

1
the bathroom is like a heavenly place to be.
a plasma screen above the toilet bowl, so that even when u shower or soak in the bathtub alone u wun feel bored.
totally love the toilet bowl.
hahaha. appreciate the "warm seat" function alot.
i is dun like to sit on cold toilet bowl seats.
they even have a stool in the shower so that u can sit down and bathe.
is thoughtful or lazy?.

2
lunch was at the Raumen Stadium behind our hotel where loads of ramen shops cluster together so that u can make ur choice.
being singaporeans we went to the shop where there was a queue.
HAHA
Oishi nei!

4
went to the 100 yen shop, which is Daiso, located at the Hakata subway station.
see the hello kitty range in their Daiso?
so much more than what u can find in Singapore, and i bought the door sign that says " Meng Quan Zhu Yi " which means "beware of dogs".
am going to paste it on my room door next time.
hahaha.
i bought junk food and more rubbish as usual.

3
took the subway to Tienjin to buy the blue labels and had a devilicious dinner.

5
imagine me lugging all the Daiso products and the 2 big bags of Burberry?
damn heavy.
luckily the nice Captain and First Officer took turns to help me carry.
tempted another crew to buy Burberry as well. muahaha.
i is dun bear to buy the bags for myself cos is expensive.

6
go Japan, how can don't eat sushi right?
the sushi is made on the spot, and placed on the conveyor belt in front of us.
fresh sashimi. raw prawns. raw scallops.
TOO BAD I DIDNT EAT ANY OF THESE.
hahahahahahaha.
i only ate the cooked meat ones.
[ i got a feeling a few of u guys have the urge to strangle me cos its such a waste ]

7
all my buys.
burberry wallet. not mine.
bought for mum's bday.
burberry bags. not mine either.
one's for mum's bday by dad.
one's for bro's gf.
range of junk food and rubbish. ALL MINE.

8
my proudest buy.
JAPAN grapes!
is big and juicy and nice and sweet.
Singapore is selling them like damn expensive, 99 dollars for a box.
muahahaha.
the grapes taste like the HICHEW grape flavoured sweet.
