was called up ytd to go for a Penang turnaround.
it was quite fun actually, with flight time only an hr..
[1 hr leh, i from yew tee take train to changi also more den 1 hr]
rushing here and there, and the crews were so nice. =)

left home at 3pm, and was back at 11.30pm.
felt like i only went to town and back.
haha.

going for melborne flight tml.
and pearly says she cant go to melborne after all cos she needs to shift places.
!?!?!?!
quite disappointed, but then again, she's coming back on 16 july anyway.
neh mind lar. can see her then.

oh ya. today is jasper-is-not-gay's birthday.

Dubai

I SURVIVED! [the 41 degrees of heat, that is]
Can u imagine the heat that came gushing at me once i stepped out of the air conditioned Dubai airport?
i tell u, its like, farking H-O-T, and its an open air somemore.
the kind of heat is like going running for 2.4km in an underground carpark, HOT and STUFFY and with all the pollutants from cars' exhaust.

In singapore when the temperature hits 33 degrees ppl start to kpkb, and say that they are going to die in the heat/ melt under the sun/ be chaotah if they step into the sun.
but hey, construction workers in Dubai work under the 41 degrees sun; ppl walk about the city in long sleeved tops and gowns; and they dun seemed to be bothered at all.
I is admire them much much.

i was wide awake at 7am Dubai time that day. [which is 11am local time] and i tossed and turned i couldnt sleep again.
7am was very early because no shops are open, and at that point of time i was so bloody hungry already.
wanted to wait till 11am to go out, but i couldnt wait anymore, i ordered room service.
although gt 20% discount, it was still abt 25 SGD.
neh neh, so expensive.

so i waited till 11am, and i followed the hotel's coach along to a shopping centre - CITY CENTRE
it is a hugggggggge shopping centre can.
i know its dangerous to go out alone, but no body wanted to go cos it was too scorching hot outside, and i was too bored.

its almost like singapore's shopping centre, having boutiques like River Island, Zara, Topshop, Mango, Stadium, Guess, Pull and Bear, blah blah blah.

There's a shop i love most, its called New Look from UK.

I was so tired i slept for 2ohrs straight!
(ok, minus 1 and a half hr for which i woke up to have dinner, but still, i practically walked to Bali and back can!)

i slpt at 3pm, woke up from 10 to 11.30pm, and i slpt till 11am this morning.
hahaha, who says its difficult to slp at night if u slp too much in the afternoon?



am back from Bali.
never been there.. (i know i am ulu)
Bali is so serene and humble, with no scary, magnificant buildings and no high rise flats.
i didnt get to see much due to time constraint, not even seeing the well known kuta beach or wadeva beach they call it.
by the time i touched down it was already 10 plus pm, went for supper till 1am, slpt like a pig till 5.30am and had to prepare for flight already.

i said i slpt like a pig because apparently there was 2 blackouts throughout the night, and i didnt know anything abt them until my crews told me.

sleeping alone wasnt that scary as it seems. but then my crews went to bunk in with each other cause they thought the rooms were creepy.
there was a big balcony, which i drew the curtains upon reaching.
there were 2 beds, which one i put my luggage on.
i bathed without closing the bathroom doors, in case a burglar came in and i dunno.
haha.

didnt get to buy anything, and i only spent 10USD for supper.
no ralph lauren, no kites, no bali sand becos i didnt go to the beach.

Dinner on friday was great, until i started to feel nauseous.
and i puked the dinner out at raffle's city's toilet.
i'm glad i said i wanted to go to the toilet, if not there would be 4 pools of vomitus at raffles city yesterday.. yes 4.

it was so disgusting can.
my chocolate milkshake, tomato soup and linguinne were gushing out of my throat while i was leaning on the walls of the cubicle. (PS. the linguinne was still in shape. hahahahahaha)


i suspect this was wad made me vomit.
too milky.
i canot.

urgh.

the last time i vomited was after Zouk with the 4 of them too.

I FINALLY GRADUATED FROM MY TRAININGS!
i am a trainee no more can.

tml is my FIRST solo flight.
wish me luck man, really.

Fuckballs

Fuckballs is when :

- you have to produce a video for your graduation ceremony, and it was only half done at 10pm the night before

- the graduation takes place at 10.30am and there is no time to do it the next morning

- you go to your bag, and realise the cable to connect your hard disk to the laptop is missing

- you search your whole bag and its still missing

- you really need the hard disk because all the photos are inside

- you complain to someone dear, and you dont hear a single consoling word

- there is no other photo in the laptop that can be used for the video

- you drive all the way to bukit batok to borrow a cable, just to realise it doesnt fit when you arrive home

- 40 mins has passed and there was nothing else done

- you called up another friend, who then confirmed her cable is what you want, but when you drive to her void deck, she calls and apologise that she made a mistake, the cable was different from what you want.

- you call up 3 other friends in yew tee but no one seems to have the kinda cable that fits

- you reach home at 11.15pm, with nothing done at all

- you are really so tired that when you close your eyes, you feel the kind of strain in your eyes, and they actually teared

- you decided to go to sleep, leaving things half done

2 short trips.

i'm back from my two short trips - Nagoya and Beijing.
(its been so long since i last typed so now that i'm typing i keep having to press the backspace button. butterfingers u see.)

Nagoya - Japan.

flight there and back were very good. crews were all very very helpful and nice. maybe becos i'm still undergoing training, nt officially an operating crew yet. =/ who knows. but then again, the people are so nice, i cant help hoping to fly with them again.

their KFC's a lil different from Singapore's. they've got coke float. =) and spicy fries.


Very nice looking sake house, but we didnt go in.

Quite sad to say, there aint much things to buy there. their shopping centres look like office buildings, and that they are mostly departmental stores, nt small little shops which i can pop into. Thus, the 3 places i went to shop was : 100 yen shop, 7-11, and a pharmacy. HAHA.

the 100yen shop, also known as Daiso to us, is the most famous place for crews to go. difference between the Daiso in Sing and Jap is, everything costs approximately SGD $1.30. =) quite cheap right?

the pharmacy is so fun to enter. but it left us feeling quite broke.
on the 2nd level of the pharmacy, it was a cosmetic heaven for girls. there were loads of local brands, as well as those international brands like Revlon etc.

Felicia (my buddy) and i spent a long time browsing through the shelves, and were busy converting the currency to see if that item was cheap. =X haha. what to do. we are poor girls what.

the design theme of the hotel was different as compared to Nagoya's. Beijing's design is more towards the oriental style, while Nagoya's was more to japan's culture and design.

Flight back to singapore from Beijing, Felicia and I were invited to sit in the cockpit for landing. I've sat at the Passenger seat, the Crew seat, and now, the Cockpit seat! =)))))) happiness.

anyway, the cockpit is where the pilots sits.

the view was super amazing and breathtakening.
the sky above the clouds was so clear, and the stars are like glitters being spill onto a piece of black paper. the stars are really really beautiful. there were a disgusting amount of stars, it was like silver dust, shimmering in the dark.

i tell u, its the best experience of my life.
words just canot explain how beautiful it was.

the view was much clearer, and there were more stars than this, because the sky was darker when i saw it.

and do you know, the small little lights on the runway forms a picture when viewed from the sky? =)
