my short Santorini trip

its been nearly a month since i blogged? time really flies!
a long outdated post on my Santorini, Greece trip which i made 2 weeks ago? or was it 3?
cant remember, seriously.

swap my flight duties with another girl, thus being lucky to be able to do this 8 days Sin-Athens-Sin flight which is seriously really hard to get.
we had like, 5 off days in Athens, and several of my colleagues and i decided to go to Santorini for sightseeing and relaxing!

hotel and ferry arrangements were made very impromptu-ly, via the concierge counter at our Athens hotel right after we checked in. We set off the day after!

our huge 'Ferry'.
honestly, we all thought it was a small 'Tekong' kinda ferry. we didnt know we were going on a ship as huge as a cruise!!
really very luxurious to be called a FERRY.

this is not our ferry, but its similar to what we were on. as huge as this is called FERRY meh?!

we spent 280Euros each.. which includes: 5+ hr express ferry to and fro Santorini, hotel 3D2N with breakfast, and all the transport from hotels to the habour.

me with my colleague's hat.

spent 5 hours gossiping, eating junk food, and taking photos of the awesome view outside the ship. the ship stopped at 3 other famous islands too.

1st stop.. i forgot where it was. but the view is SPEECHLESS-LY beautiful.

super glaring sun, but the wind was strong.

my colleague Jamie and i!

another postcard perfect picture.

the 4th stop: SANTORINI
FINALLY! after 5 hours plus of being on the sea.

our first group pic in Santorini

walking down the huge and steep steps to our sea facing resort

our resort's swimming pool, and the breathtaking view

cosy room

first stop was to the Kamari Beach, also known as the black sand beach.

the sand feels like.. tiny black stones. very coarse.

had lunch, and we went back to our resort to absorb the awesome view, and to rest for the day.

rows and rows of resorts, forming this step on the cliff that's truly unique and gorgeous. and everything is in white/beige!

 we love Tholos Resort!

waiting for the sun set

captured with my 2 year Canon S90.
not a super good camera compared to many professional DSLR but im so proud of it!!! such a well captured photo, the colours and the contrast!
and the sun looks like those that i drew when i was young... (the sun that i used to draw always has a pair of sunglasses on though)

view from outside my room, after the sun set. (that was about 8-ish pm)

Day 2:

woke up to this...
piece of heaven

our daily breakie, delivered to our balcony.

HAHAHA room mate Heny brought along her travel heater curlers. and she helped me curl my hair for the day. u will be surprised what crew always have in their bags! i had straighteners, she had curlers.

 tadah! hair curled!

going on a walk to the town of Santorini.
it was quite a long walk actually. -.-

why random flowers by the road also so pretty....why?!

no idea what this means but it looks cute!

i love Santorini!!!

random botak tree also can be so photogenic

this little hill in the middle is the same hill that is outside our resort.. can u tell how far we walked!?

gorgeous blue sky, gorgeous blue sea, super clean and white walls, and me! (will be perfect if bf is in the photo with me.. hahahaha)

looking at people taking their wedding shoots..

look how far the little hill is now! we walked really really far, but the walk was enjoyable with all the scenic views and photo taking sessions.

HAPPY ME!

my finger is pointing at our resort's location, and the red dot is where i was at, at the point of time.

 streets of the town

random flowers again

my suggestion for the pose: DO HEART DO HEART!

the red beach. it has a real name but i forgot what its called.
simply calling it the red beach as the cliffs are red over there, due to some volcano eruption thingy eons ago.

if only every day is like that.

ended the day waiting for the sun set again, this time round at a location where it is most popular in Santorini. loads of tourists crowding around, if u can spot them in the background of this photo.

well.. overrated i think! i totally think that the view in our resort is better!

A-W-E-S-O-M-E MUCH!!!!!

Day 3:

had to head back to Athens in the noon, so i spent the morning snapping some more photos for memories sake.

weather on the 3rd day was super good!
not too cold, not too hot.

 with the girls!

didnt have the chance to ride on any of these, so i simply hopped onto one that is parked by the road for a photo.
i look so tanned and manly and adventurous here. i like!

thats all for my 3D2N Santorini trip.
i cant wait to be back there again..
PERFECT HONEYMOON LOCATION!
