My ah gong's birthday

it was finally my ah gong's birthday. it has been a long awaited event, yet, not all things went smoothly. first it was the video presentation. it was a beautifully done video i must say. credits to all my cousins who put in much effort in making the video. however, due to lack of photos from my family, my dad went into a rage. he was slightly drunk though. he scolded my cousins and everybody else. i find that its a lil too overboard, but, considering my dad's feeling, maybe he just over reacted. 2ndly was my 7th uncle, being over drunk. so much so that my cousins had to carry the whole chair to the car with my uncle sitting on it. it was nt too nice a sight, but that was the best way.
the photo taking was too draggy, cos with the large number of people, it was too difficult to organise and find space for everyone. if the kids are not running about, the old folks are talkin. it jus comes and goes in a cycle.

lion dance competition

my brother's team had competition today. due to having to welcome that MP for some dumb lift upgrading thing, i missed watching my bro's comp. damn MP. i hate him. drag and drag, take his own sweet time.

anyway, nvm! i haf pics durin the rehearsal. very well done. though marks aint that awesome due to many many reasons. but at least there were no mistakes. and that they finished the whole thing smoothly. my brother is the lion tail. and his lion head is only in pri 6 . very good . =)

MY BOYFRIEND IS GOING NS!wahahaha. the letter smack at him at the best time ever. a day after his birthday. been telling him govt. will send their regards and send him a birthday present during his bday. dun believe lar! see. !! now govt really give him present. wahaha. am i smart or wad?

and pearly got a letter from malaysia govt. to NS too. suay bong. she got choosen to go ns. but since she's studying abroad, den she deferred the ns thing. hahahaha. suay bong, pearly, suay bong.

MAAD is BAAD

the Maad (Market of Artists And Designers) is not quite what gia and i had expected.

we woke up early,
met at bpp early,
ate breakfast,
full of enthusiasium,
took a bus,
ask for directions,
took mrt,
stared at the locality map,
tailed 2 suspects that seem to be heading for MAAD.

and then! all u see is what u get. 5 mins. i tell u. it only took us 5 mins to finish 'shopping' at MAAD. everything u see there is featured in the website, and most have individual links to their own sites. so, just shop online!

being 90.

being 90 is a great feat. honest. how many people can do that? dun tell me u can. unless u are 91 now.

and my ah gong is turning 90. there gonna be a huge celebration for him. dinner at restaurant, a professional photographer and video man, balloons, magic show, video presentation, formal whole family portrait. =) that might nt be all, but i haven heard what else there are. its gonna be such a great event, so much so that a reporter from sin ming newspaper came to my house ytd to interview my ah gong. =) they are going to publish an article on my family, with 4 generations down the line, and each and every one of us being harmoniously together. and there is a journalist from Newpaper gonna come to the dinner to witness the whole event. hahaha i love my family!
