talk about lan ytd.

i was freaking DU LAN.

didnt i say i was supposed to go to miLAN on sat.?

here i am in miLAN already.

the stupid freaking idiotic son-of-a-beach automated machine called me at around 8.15pm on friday night, and i was told by the stupid machine that i was activated for miLAN at 9.40pm. that only leaves me about 1hr 15 min because i have to reach the airport by 9.30pm.

and there i was, just finished eatin dinner, watching TV, yet to shower, thinking of going to ChinaTown somemore. when i answered the phone and heard that sickening voice, i felt like crying. 1 hr 15 min to bathe, make up, spray hair, find transport and to reach the airport. 

PREPOSTEROUS duty right?

lao niang is stay at Bukit Panjang lor, not freaking Changi or even Tampines. lao niang is also dun have wings to fly there, neither do i have a teleport machine to teleport myself there. neh neh one.

duLAN.

in the end i huffed and puffed and swore and cursed and i reached airport on time. 

call me superwoman can.

luckily i packed after posting my last entry. and i repainted my nails.

if i didnt pack my bag i would be in deep shit. and i mean deep shit like its really deep. 

ok fuck. nobody understands what i am typing anyway.

this is due to not slping since.. friday 12pm. 

now is singapore time 3.55pm sat, which is miLAN time 8.55am sat.

is v tired.

i'll still be back on wed morning.

will be going to Venice tml morning to see see look look walk walk.

forgot to bring camera. gong xi fa cai to me already.

am looking forward to my annual leave on 14 feb to 21 feb. 

really am considering to go to BKK for a couple of days. Tiger airways is cheap cheap cheap! about 145 dollars to and fro BKK. cheap right?!

but not inclusive of hotel stays. but i have a lil habit, which is to stay in normal budget hotels rather than splurge on high class 5 stars hotels.. i could use all these money to buy more stuffs and shop more, eat better! =) not to mention i honestly have quite enough of staying in 4 or 5 stars hotels. they are not that fantastic afterall.. i think the only good hotel stay i will splurge on during personal travels is on my honeymoon. (not i pay anyway. hoho)

Milan tml. back on 4th feb morning.

havent change euros yet.

havent pack too.

its 0 to 1 degree celcius. tell me what kind of weather is that. i think its almost the same temperature as my freezer.

(reminds myself to wear more, wear thicker, eat well, rest well and also buy my brother's belated 22bd bday present and dewei's 21st bday present and also Jun's valentine's day present)

i forsee a huge dip in my bank account. all is expensive, but i also have to buy sth for myself for Valentine's day to reward myself. canot all buy for ppl den i dun have right..

i reward myself for being a nice and sweet and kind and caring and loving and everything good girl. ok. just want to buy sth for myself can.? cos i say so. and is my money. hoho.

attended CNY performance today.
is tired like dunno one. esp when i didnt slp much the day before.
sun super hot, lorry super cramp, i is super sleepy.

there were tooo much props, too much ppl on the lorry.
and the lorry was bursting. but i had a great time "kueh show-ing" because it was great having so many friends around me.

there were ppl from China and from Thailand. the Thais are really nice! although the way we spoke to each other is like a duck quacking and a chicken chirping... we managed to laugh like mad. the Thai coach still gave me his namecard, ask me to go and visit them when i go BKK.

just that.. it somehow feels diff when not ALL my khakis are able to attend the performance together. when anyone of us (6 of us) is missing, it always doesnt feel that nice and warm.
am waiting for the day the 6 of us can reunion a lil and have a great dinner or so. =)

My CNY day 1

Happy Chinese Ox Year to all!

spent the day rather happily seeing my relatives and friends. Jun went for lion dance performance, so i didnt see him at all! =(
i wanted to join my troupe's performance too.. but since i'm on MC. i stayed at home.
and yes. i didnt go to Bombay after all.

relatives came from between 10am to 2pm..
den after headed to my grandma's house, and to my dad's sworn brother's house. its nice seeing 7 man gathering once a year no matter how busy they are. its like. a mutual understanding that they will have to meet up on CNY 1st day no matter how many years passed.

i also want to have this kind of meet ups.
like no-need-to-plan-but-every-year-tradition-have-to-meet-up-on-this-day kinda thing. no matter u are married or with children or single , just bring all your children/ wives / dogs along.

was telling this to Dewei and Chaiyan ytd, after we left QX's house. I think its a good idea. and i told them my kids sure is bully their kids one. hahaha!

speaking of QX..
that guy slept like a log and when we left he didnt even open his eyes to look at us. got so tired meh?ok la. plus the fact that he is still sick and coughing like an old man la, but that is no excuse mah!

but i think they were all tired after a day of dragon dance performances under the scotching sun while i happily slacked in aircon rooms all the while. cos every time Yan closes her eyes, she fell asleep immediately. hoho.
all of them (Yan, Peggy, Daryl, Dewei & QX) slept in between watching Ip Man leh. Zeng Zi Dan is so handsome and the show is so nice to watch lor. how can sleep?

played a lil mahjong when i totally do not know how to play at all. dont even know how many tiles to take and where to take from. Dewei the nice boy have to keep passing my tiles to me and helping me arrange them properly. and Daryl is no give face, keep winning my money. hoho. nvm. at least i got win 1 round. i know is paiseh to say but hor i nv play before leh, win 1 round is good enough liao.

got a flight later on. INDIA TURN. at least its a turn.
be back tomorrow morning 6am.

i went to Beijing and Taiwan and back!
rot in Beijing, didnt step out of the room because there's nth to do there.
had a 2.5hrs massage in my room, and practically slept the whole day other than watch my DVD.

Taiwan was super fun!
i was ultra chirpy on board because i have been looking forward to going to Taiwan for damn long. wait until my neck so long finally got rostered!
and.
the crew was super nice.
and.
i cut my hair again in Taiwan.
did a hair treatment as well and its like only 50SGD$. was damn cheap.

ate mee sua consecutively thrice for my meals.
is very happy with Ah Zhong Mian Xian.
and not forgetting my giant chicken cutlet, my qing wa milk tea, my giant hotdog dip, my bing tang hu lu, my mister donut... and so much more. =)

my cargo bag was so full i had to sit on it to close it.
and it still didnt close fully.
freaking heavy and overstuffed,

i am so hoping i will be in singapore for CNY. but neh neh the company put me on a BOMBAY flight.
early morning on the first day i'll be going, not even seeing the day break yet. only be back on the third day night. freaking mad becos the whole set of staff on this flight, theres only 1 non chinese. which makes me wonder how come they make all the chinese work on CNY. and on Hari Raya and Deepavali most of the chinese have off days.

which means again, i canot buy the Chanel 2.55 because i am not in singapore on CNY.

i wonder why the west got no good food.
ok. i'm is very hungry.
thats why.
[i only drank 2 cups of milo. one piece of prata and one tiny tuna wrap for the whole day.]

anyway i always feel that the East; North; and South sider always have better things than the West sider.

1. the East Coast is bigger, and much more presentable than the West Coast.
2. the East got Wild Wild Wet, the West only got Jurong Swimming Complex.
3. the East got Changi Airport, got Escape Theme Park.

West is simi sai also dun have lor!
(ok lar. got Snow City and Science Centre, but u will go meh?)
West only got a lot of schools.
3 polytechnics, 2 govt university and 1 Uni SIM.

ok. niam so much. i still want to live in the West cos i've been stayin here all my life. everytime i go East hor i will feel very out of place.
next time marry liao i still wanna stay in the West, can?

the ferris wheel near our hotel in Manchester.
unlike the Singapore Flyer, this one rotates quite quickily.
and u have to jump or leap to get on and off the carriage.

When i was in Manchester last week, the weather so super cold.
at minus 4 degrees, my nose and mouth was numbed by the wind that kept blowing at us while we walked down the street.
so cold until :

1. i dressed up like an eskimo.
2. we kept darting into shops because they have heaters inside.
3. my hotel room was at 30 degrees celcius but still was v cold.
4. i didnt feel like bathing. (i did lar! i'm not smelly.)
5. drinking hot chocolate was heavenly.
6. the cars that had been stationary for long has ice on it.

bought this book ytd while shopping with Joeis at Jurong Point yesterday.

a very interesting and true book, written by a stewardess from MAS.
every page i turn reminds of me sth i met at work.
there was this sentence:
' Sometimes I greeted a gloomy passenger with my chirpy "Good morning, Sir!" only to be replied by a sarcastic, " What so good about the morning?" '

i totally agree that there are really such ppl around, and recalled what my trainer told us.

HAPPY 2009!

its a blessing i could be home in time for the new year! i nearly couldnt because it was foggy in Delhi, and the day when we landed, we nearly couldnt cos the pilots couldnt figure out the runway and all.
it was said if the fog remains as bad on departure day den we would be delayed at least 2 or more hours.
luckily the fog cleared and we departed on time! =)
heng no need to stay there.

celebrated the New Year and count down at the Alps Cafe at Prinsep Street with Jun and his colleagues and friends. a total of about 15-20 ppl, but only 7 stayed throughout.
we finished 2 martell and 1 chivas. i is long time no drink!!!
we were all super giddy; singing, crapping and laughing like dunno what. =.=
i rmb seeing the toilet tiles spin while i was peeing.. luckily i became sober after a while. the 7 of us went back at about 4am, Jun and i reached home and bathed at abt 5am, and we woke up at 8.30am because the poor boy got to go to work.

i woke up as a very grumpy, frumpy, cranky and angry girl. =(
drinking is no good.
