been running about TTSH these 3 nights after my touchdown on sunday.

ah gong is in hospital. =(

a 92 yr old man, lying on the hospital bed, not being fed solid food, not being able to bathe, or go to the toilet.
stubborn as can be, refusing to put on a diaper, and insisting on going to the toilet when he has got no strength to walk.

Auckland

Auckland was. boring yet exciting.

boring because :
1) i was on standby on one of the days there, so in the day time i had to stay in my room, hoping that they wouldnt activate me for a flight.
2) i had the intention of going bungy jump there but the weather was too cold! i think if i did a bungy jump my nose would drop off at the end of the jump.

exciting because :
1) DFS has 20% discount for crew.
2) i got the whole 4 seasons of " the L word " DVD to watch.

anyway!
the hotel Langham is very chio. even though the building the room the bed the toilet is not chio, but still i wanna say its very chio because of these -

went out on the first day. sight seeing.
that bungy thing is the same as ours in clark quey. the reverse type, so, no fun.




sight seeing at the sky tower.
its exactly what i experienced in Shanghai, when i went school overseas trip with PDI last year. a very tall tower where pp could walk around to have a view of the country, 360 degrees.




standing on the glass gives me a.. heart tingling feeling. nevertheless i jumped and hopped on the glass, scaring the freak out of the other 2 girls.


doesnt the buildings look like what u see when u go for properties' showcase? like the lil models made of cardboards and stuff.

speaking of flying, i was so so so so so angry!
on saturday, they called me up at 4.30am, told me to report to the airport at 6.30am! crazy or not u tell me! they think i live at changi or tampines meh. i is live at bukit panjang u know. bloody stupid planning. so lack of crew meh, until have to activate bukit panjang ppl, with only 2 hrs for me to rush and puff and rush and puff and curse.
neh neh.

i is so bek cek and angry lor.
further more a stupid passenger accuse me of choosing ppl to greet just because i didnt say bye to him after the flight. nb.
i was thanking everyone for the flight, saying all the niceties when suddenly the flow of ppl stopped. i supposed there was a jam in front. so i stopped saying my niceties and i just stood there and smile. when the queue starts moving again, i wanted to continue saying my niceties when he accused me by saying : Do you choose whom u greet? i think u do.
i haven even open my mouth!!!!!! and he just took a look at my badge and walk away. just because he's of other race he thinks i'm discriminating him. i didnt have a chance to explain.

i canot possibly greet all the 255 passengers good bye rite! even if i can i would need to pause for a sec or 2 to swallow my saliva and catch a breathe wad.

its been 1/2 a yr since i last saw her lor.

i managed to convince her into buying a pair of fake lashes and putting some black eyeshadow on her eyelids.

update of Johannesburg

back to the same nice hotel as i went 2 months ago. As usual, we had ocean basket for dinner on touch down day. =] Platter for 2 + sparkling water is very yummy.

and i finally went sight seeing in South Africa!
2 other crew and i joined the Lionpark tour. the hotel arranged a car to send us to there, with us seated comfortably in the car throughout the tour and the driver was v v nice.

sky is very blue.
land is very brown
tree is very green.
i is like.

the start of the tour begins with driving through some paths and seeing many many different kinds of animals. Springboks, giraffes, zebras, wild chickens...


notice anything different about the 2 photos of that same zebra? on the top the zebra's ugly kukubird is dangling around. on the bottom photo it disappeared. i think upon seeing us he is turned off. haha.


ROARs.
the main attraction of Lionpark.


the driver told us that the lions are fed once a week, on sunday. and we went to the park on monday. thus all the lions were sleepy and lazy. they just lie around and stare blankly into the air.


is so bored looking at them lie there. and i think they are bored too.


i know its abit too many photos of lions but then again its the lionpark leh! dun post lion photos post wad ?
the lion's thighs look delicious to me. lols.

the leaves of the tree are purple in colour. very very very pretty. and the 3 girls also very pretty. HOHO.


no running in the park. if got lion chase u, see u run or not.
we got to touch the lion cubs and i was so afraid that it will scratch me.


next we went to buy some food from THEM and feed THEIR animals. so bo hua but hor if we dont feed them we got nth to do.
i is very brave to feed the ostrich and the ostriches are very greedy.


i went to sayang the giraffe too. the silly giraffe keeps putting its tongue out and it starts licking the wooden platform whenever no one feeds it. so so so cute. amber went to feed the giraffe and she got her whole hand licked by the giraffe. so slimy so wet so gross!!!!

i'm here again in Johannesburg.after 10 hours of flight.
i'm pretty amazed by my supervisor.on the flight up, he just looked at me, and he said: "u are a very quick tempered girl. Am i not right?"
and i was super stunned. smiled, and said " ya.... how do u know?"
and he said: " very dominating. small in size, but u are a very hot chilli padi."
when i asked him how he knew, he said " i can see. its written all over your face"

very very very amazing.but he didnt want to tell me more.

nong time ago

some nong nong time ago, mum jasper and i went to try our first fish spa at IMM.
it was a very good experience.

the fishes were chewing on our feet and having a great feast of dead skin.
the initial feeling before even putting our feet in was fear but curious. the moment we sat on the edge of the pond the fishes rushed to us like they haven eaten for years. we haven even put our legs in can!?

but u know u paid for the service and the time already starts ticking away, so we had to put our feet in as soon as possible.

its so damn itchy can!!!!!!!!!!
the little fishes sucking on ur little toe, on ur heels, on ur soles.
but hor, the after feel is damn shiok one. the leg is very smooth. hehe

3 dozen of Krispy Kreme, 4 tim tams, 3 Arnotts kids biscuits, 1 pack of starburst lollipop, and 3 naval studs.
naval studs so cheap can. singapore selling 1 for 24$ aprox, there is 3 for 24$. =]

i lugged all these back to singapore.
and everyone is very happy.

bunked in with Carol, my new found friend.
see, i said i will wear my spects outstation to make it worth its value, and i did.
the other 3 photos are my buys this time round. love the brown boots so much we each bought one pair. but in the end i cursed and swore because my feet hurts due to walking in the wedged heels for a whole day. neh neh. my leg is so louya.
Ben Shermans was having a sale so i bought my brother a shirt. cheap cheap. 20 pounds only.


dinner was at this cottage-ish lookalike restaurant. felt very cosy there because outside it was a freaking 7 degrees celcius only. i like the sugar sachet because it has pink panther on it. =]


the next day trio went to the Man U stadium [again] for the stadium tour and to Trafford Centre. HUGGGEEE shopping centre. the trio includes me, Irwin, and Carol.

the whole set of crew keep saying Carol and i look alike. say we look like sisters somemore.

in the super huge souvenir shop.
Everything there has the Man U crest, and the products ranges from jerseys to slippers to cups to baby rompers to dog clothes to stickers to UNO cards to...

the tickets into the stadium tour.
it says junior cos we showed our student passes and we got the children tickets. a 24 yr old Irwin showed his driving license and he also got the junior tickets. is evil.


the 2 ends of the stadium.
one end reads Stretford End and one reads Manchester United.
see the lamps on the grass? thats to provide artificial natural sunlight to the carpet grass. =.= becos the grass costs 100,000 pounds to change if it all withers and dies. so expensive can. aint grass suppose to be free?


we got to go into the players' changing rooms and see all their jerseys all hung up. players have 4 or 6 jerseys each match, long sleeved and short sleeved. they can choose which one they wanna wear, and after every match the jerseys ARE ALL THROWN AWAY!
so wasted can.


i bet the ppl who dispose the jerseys always bring them home to wash and re sell. no, i think dont wash got more value.
imagine u buy the original jersey with Ronaldo's sweat smell. muahahaha.


the entrance where the players emerge and run into the field. the tour guide played the entrance music and made us queue up in 2s, and walk out of the entrance.

yup. and so that marks the end of my 2nd manchester trip. kinda wasted that i only went to Primark once. on the 2nd day we didnt have enough time. nvm, i think i will go again soon...
