what about you?

if given these choices to prioritize, how would you place them, starting from the most impt to the not-say-not-impt-but-the-least-impt amongst all?

  1. Family
  2. Health
  3. Love [as in gf/bf love. husband or wife doesnt count cos it would be under family already]
  4. Friends
  5. Money

i would prioritize it just as it is now.

What about you?

Manchester

so smart, bring camera nv bring memory card.
=(
photos taken using hp.

in Manchester, the most frequent thing that came into my mind ( which actually means most of the time ) is :

" __ Pounds x 2.7 = SGD $ ___?
WAH! , so bloody expensive. "
=(

anyway!
i did sth which most ppl in Singapore havent done, but probably some guys might wish they did.

old trafford.... rings a bell?

muahaha.

2

have u guessed?

i spent 60pounds watching 2 groups of people running after a silly white ball.

Black market tickets

MAN U vs NEWCASTLE .

1
looked like i took photos of a TV screen, isnt it?

the experience is. hard to pen down.

the intensity of the whole stadium made me feel like i'm in a deep deep dream, like its all unreal. the people were singing cheering and clapping like mad. occasionally jeering at Newcastle cos, obviously, MAN U were at home and we are in Manchester.

who do u think is at advantage? =)

what makes me wonder is who exactly starts the song, such that nearly half the stadium will sing in unison? who wrote the songs? and how come everyone, even a 5 year old kid can sing to the song?

anyway, when there was a goal for Man U we all jumped up and down, cheering like mad and clapping like monkeys.

haha. machiam i die hard Man U fan.
machiam i even understand soccer.
=.=
[mingkai, rmb last time i join the inter house soccer competition. ? LOL]

i kept half-wishing that i was watching the match from a TV so that there is a replay available. neh neh. i spend so much, when the goal happens i canot see it twice. nt fair wad.

*digress*

i think i look nice in my turtleneck top.
say turtle?

delicious road side hotdog & burger counters. =)

Shopping was great! =D =D =D

Especially at this PRIMARK departmental store.
everything was like so damn cheap. [unless u convert it into SGD, but then again... still cheap!]

all from PRIMARK.

the most expensive item in the photo only costs 8 pounds.
bought these items during the 2 days i had in Manchester.

both days, i went to PRIMARK to shop.

the total cost of these items are.. i think less than 40 pounds?
consists of 1 pair of winter boots, 1 winter coat, 1 trench coat, 1 scarf, 1 pair of gloves, 1 pair of winter socklettes, 1 pair of tights, 5 tops, 1 set of winter pyjamas, 2 child tops and 3 pairs of panties.

is alot one lor.

see the boots :

my current most into piece of clothing.
lols.

costs only 6 pounds can. =)

KRISPY KREME-D again!

Johannasburg

Johannsaburg - South Africa

26
totally love this hotel.
5 star hotel. shiok.
room service cheap also.

27
their porters are dressed up so smartly.

22
nice big toilet with a sliding glass door at the bath tub to prevent water from splashing everywhere. =]
so considerate.

25
i heard that 8 out of 10 ppl there carry firearms with them. so scary.
i wouldnt want to offend or provoke anyone there, would u?

24
remembered seeing this statue in Vegas when i was very young.
Johannasburg also have. =]

there's a casino right beneath the hotel, plus some restaurants and a children arcade.

28
i went into the casino and had a go at the jackpot machines.
and..
and...
and....
and....

and i lost 10rands. =(

29
see my fren playin the DDR machine.
lols. i played too.
nth to play what there!
so we made a fool out of ourselves.
my fren was surprised that i know how to play.
rmb i used to have the DDR mat in my house! lol.

31
managed to squeeze into that small little car.
cheat money one. singapore 20centsSGD can play already, there need about $1.50SGD.

23
had this for lunch and dinner.
heard that Fish & Co copy their idea.
so i should say this is the original?
think i'm getting fatter cos i finished one whole seafood platter for one.

30
Mark Antony.
so handsome.

33
took this outside a restaurant in the casino.
queen of the Nile.

32
i really LOL-ed when i saw the signboard of this restaurant.
imagine like : "Wimpy are for wimps!" "Welcome wimps!" "U need to bill wimp?"

ok.
same words.
last but not least, my buys:

34
the chocolate bars are so cute.
got different words on the wrapper one.

i only spent $50SGD on this 5 days trip.
so thrifty. lols.

switzerland

a trip to switzerland made me realised how nice fresh air can smell.

6
very photogenic constructions.

in singapore all i get is a breathful of exhaust and at the end of the day there is alot of gold to dig. =\

7
coach drivers are supposed to off their engines when their car is stationary, and everyone abides by the sign cos they want to preserve the fresh air in swiss.
try putting this sign [ note: its without any FINES or SUMMONS warning] in Singapore, see who cares.

4
bought this 24hr tram ticket and went on a tour to Mount Titlis. $147 swiss francs for the tour. ='(

5
its no wonder why i couldnt make out the way to the right tram station.
luckily the other crew knows.

3
the main terminal so called.

8
Welcome to the foot of Mount Titlis.
Hello breathtakening view.
Hello fresh air.
Hello cool climate.

9
cable car up to Mount Titlis.
very very scary.
10times more scary than the mount faber one from Sentosa.

10
had to transfer to another cable car, but this one rotates while travelling up so that we can enjoy 360degree view of the mountain.
very smart. =]

12
finally, at the peak of Mount Titlis.

snow snow snow !!!

13
seeing my nike ACG sink into the snow made me very happy.
it wasnt that cold on the mountain, probably cos its summer, and the snow were melting.
had a hard time walkin on the snow.
we walked like we were drunk.
one funny crew wore leather shoes and he walked like he was totally drunk. the other 2 of us had to hold on to him on each side so as to stablise him.

up
sat on the Ice Flyer, where i could have my legs dangling in the air, midway of dunno how many feet high.

1
whenever i looked down i would imagine myself falling.
so dumb.

14
had a go at the snow slope, with the other 2 guys.
very fun. very fun. =]

15
eating ice cream in an ice cave is very shiok.

16
very cute ang moh girl. =)

17
tired from all the mountains, we finally came to Lucerne, a city in Swiss.

18
Chapel bridge, the oldest covered bridge in Europe, constructed in 1408.

19
the only full meal i had in Switzerland.
so expensive can the Mcdonalds.
it was abt $12 swiss francs, times 1.3 to make it into SGD.
for one meal ok?!
=(
never upsize somemore.
curry sauce still need 30cents swiss francs.

last but not least,
my buys:

21
all the swiss chocolates.
cheap cheap.
and my Longchamp bag!

20
my mama say she wouldnt buy this bag no matter how cheap it is.
and when i told her it costs $105 swiss francs, she looked at me as though i was mad.
and she say the colour is ugly, the shape is go market bring one..
=(
she nv hear the brand before mah! chey.

within 5 mins, i grabbed this bag and ran to the cashier cos by the time i decided which colour and size to buy, i only had 3 more mins to go before the tour coach say bye bye to me.
but i like this colour what!
i say nice, means nice.

hehe.

and to irritate her i am going to buy more Longchamp bags of different colours and sizes.
