went swimming at jurong east swimming complex today.. with jun, my brother, yan, bk, quan, benny and his gf rachel..
i realised how common tattoos have became. its not an uncommon sight to see tattoos, whether big or small, ugly or nice, on ppl's body any more. it became so common, its like seeing 2 ears on a head.
tattoos are inked everywhere on people. the arms, backs and legs being most common, while some others prefer to ink them on their wrist, behind their necks and ears etc..
although i do admit giving these people 2 more glances, i feel its pretty acceptable in our era. ppl used to talk in hush voices about others' tattoos, giving them weird looks like they had jus robbed a bank or sth... more of like, a stereotype judgement. but now, no one actually bothers anymore. our views and thinking have changed since the past.. mayb the older generations still judge ppl with tattoos negatively, but at least us youngsters are okay with it.. ( i hope)
its good i feel. humans are suppose to be able to adapt to changes easily.. and i'm glad tattoos are becoming more and more common..
cos then i wun feel weird if i get one in a matter of time!
