my 31st december 2007

hello!
i know its a tad too late to blog for 31st december, but heck. i'm busy u know?
hahah!
busy with thinking how to escape from work early everyday,
with meeting friends,
with erh. erh.
nth already.

this is a very very long entry.

on 31 december, i skipped work.
i wanted to go! i swear. cos it was only half day [till 3pm, and 2.5hrs earlier from the normal 5.45pm is considered half day?! sai] and i planned to leave at lunch. but hor, some smart person was sms-ing me, asking what time we shld leave, after lunch ah..?
blah blah blah, den in the end he replied: "but i don't feel like goin leh...."
CHEY! dont want to go den say earlier mah! ya. so . after this long paragraph u realised all i want to say is i didnt go to work.
heh.

went all the way to aljunied to find dewei, and dragged dewei out of his hse. =]

off we went to marina square. freaking many ppl i tell u. like. many many small ants on a piece of candy.


siao one these ppl. it was only 10pm ok?! 10pm so many many freaking bangalahs and china men and. none chinese. picnic meh?! still got 2 hrs to countdown leh! countdown also wun start early one. chey.
ki siao.


after being freaked out from the never ending queues at most of the restaurants, we ended up at Jack's Place.

heck that they only serve christmas set dinner.
heck that there were only 3 christmas set dinner to choose from.
heck that we had to wait for a while.
heck that the meals cost hell much.
we were hungry.
so hungry that we ate 400 fishes, 200 chickens, and 1 portion of steak. [steak is for me, i have a very small appetite u see, and i am the only one normal around.] hehe.


wasnt that angry anymore when we saw novelty packs on the table. hehe! very very kiddish of us, but it was fun.
throw face a bit, the next day is a new year liao mah!
neh mind rite?





see. told ya, we were very very happy with the toys.


for being 3rd in dragon dance comp the day before. hehe.


no, he is nt taking advantage of me.
and no, i am not taking advantage of him either.

i was very happy.
becos, i laughed a lot.
and i laughed alot, becos guanji was very funny.

after dinner, much laughs, and some craziness we went over to the bridge behind esplanade.
what a turn off. there were mountains and lakes and rivers and moons of people, and we had a hard time squeezing past them.
luckily, qx got train before one. he walked in front, me at the back, and guanji the tall one behind me, nudging aways all the bangalahs and chinamen. and lastly dewei tryin to follow behind guanji the tall one.
tall is good i tell u. can see what is happening in front and update us. hehe.
i also wan to grow tall! [okok. 2008 new year resolution]

we WALKED from esplanade to geylang.
very near only. cross suntec, cross a FEW roads, a FEW rivers, nicoll highway, kallang, a FEW carparks, a FEW rows of shops.....



after walking, and walking, and stopping to take pics, and walking, and walking..
1.5hrs passed.
and we reached.

and we ate and ate.

my first meal in 2008 was frogs.
hahaha.

walked dewei home from geylang to aljunied.
and cabbed home with guanji and qx.

met him again at 11am to go for lunch at town with troupemates.
shall talk abt that some other time.

recollections of 2007

a brief recollection of 2007.
i will take one whole year if i want to write it down in detailed.

a year with loads of ups and downs.
loads of significant matters.
i better jot them down.


1)bought my first ever branded item


2)my 2nd time being a bridesmaid.


3)PDI chalet with both classes in it. had fun. really.


4)my first ever southern lion competition. made a fool of myself, hurt myself, but i had fun and it was a good experience to have.


5)annual lion dance chalet. very much enjoyed myself. and i'm glad i convinced u into going to the chalet. =)


6)officially went clubbing for the first time with giacinta, candy, hsiaowei and wanxian. had the feeling of being tipsy for the first time.


7)2nd competition of the year. lion dance traditional.


8)my newly employed and loved maid, vycky. =)


9)china trip with PDI. had a very much fun time shopping. don't think i learnt anything relating to school though. =X


10)bracesless after 1 year + 10 months! =D finally without the pain, the feeling of having soft and tender teeth after tightening each month.


11)earned my driving licence at the 2nd try.


12)went DXO for the 1st time. nudging tikopehs away were fun.

13) kena molested by one freaking stupid 15 yr old kid on bus. shouted and screamed at him so much and we went to the police station to give statements.


14)my 3rd time being a bridesmaid. was very pretty that night. =)


15)quit Spizza after one and a half year of working there. oh dear, i do miss those times.


16)was sent to ST kinetics for attachment.


17)my 3rd chalet of the year. went to monster's chalet with rara, dino and chaiyan.


18)went back to being friends after 2 years. i do appreciate the times we spent, though there were times where we were just helpless and lost.


19)went family holidaying at KL for 3 days.


20)impromtu christmas meet up at cineleisure.


21)struck off this item from my wishlist =) thank you. it was a very great surprise but, it is really too freaking freaking expensive.

22) dragon dance competition on 30th dec. and we got 3rd.


23)countdown session at esplanade with freaking many blangalahs and china people squeezing around.. had my waist pinched by some unknowns. fucking bangalahs.


and i ended the year 2007 with these lovely friends; Dewei, Guanji and Qingxiang, with dinner at Jack's place, marina square.
